Interplay chega ao Steam (PC)

Steam acaba de ganhar mais uma parceria de peso, o sistema de distribuição digital da Valve terá agora no seu catálogo os grandes clássicos da Interplay, que estarão disponíveis aos mais de 20 milhões de usuários do Steam.

Alguns jogadores mais novos podem não conhecer ou "lembrar" da Interplay, mas o catálogo deles é dos mais invejáveis possíveis, indo de rpgs dos mais clássicos como Fallout I e II, Icewind Dale, Planescape Torment e Baldur's Gate, a outros gêneros com MDK, Descent, Earthworm Jim e Freespace.

A empresa começará no Steam com Fallout, Sacrifice e Kingpin, mas o resto de seu catalogo virá na sequência. Os títulos custarão abaixo de 10 dólares e serão disponibilizados no steam (http://store.steampowered.com/) em breve.

Interplay titles now available on Steam

(August 17th, 2009) - Interplay Entertainment (Interplay), the publisher of many video game hits, and Valve Corporation (Valve), a developer of leading-edge technologies and software, announced today an agreement to bring Interplay titles to customers worldwide via Steam®, Valve's leading platform for digital content distribution and management.

Beginning today, Interplay titles including Fallout, Sacrifice and Kingpin will become available for purchase via Steam, which makes PC games available online to more than 20 million users worldwide.

Once players have a Steam account, they can sign in from any PC to access their Steam-distributed Interplay games. Because games are associated with their account and not their computer, players can enjoy their favorite Interplay game anytime, anywhere.
